Aligarh Muslim University Plus 2 Results 2024 Released: Ifa Irshad and Widad Jameel of AMU Senior Secondary School (Girls) have topped the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination Part II i.e. 12th of Aligarh Muslim University. AMU has declared the result of Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination Part Two on May 15. According to the result declared by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Ifa Irshad and Widad Jameel have topped the examination by scoring 484 marks out of 500.

Zunaira Khan of the same school stood second with 483 marks, while Mariam Ahmed and Simra Khan of the same school stood third with 482 marks respectively. She was followed by Aamna Shamim who scored 481 marks. All these students also remained ahead in the merit list of science stream.
A total of 2886 students appeared for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination 2024. The pass percentage of students has been 94.07.

Arts topper
In the Humanities stream, Umra Fatma (478 marks), Arshi (477 marks), Disha Sharma (473 marks), Shatakshi Upadhyay (473 marks) and Nazia Nazir (471 marks) achieved success.
In commerce stream, Tabish Masood (477 marks), Aniket Mishra (470 marks) and Hira Bano (468 marks) topped the list.

Some students are protesting against the results
There is anger among the students after the declaration of the results of Plus Two exam in Aligarh Muslim University located in Police Station Civil Line area of Aligarh. Hundreds of students gathered and reached Baba Syed Gate of AMU. Students staged a massive protest by sitting at the gate and demanded action against those responsible for the negligence.
What do students say
Students say that dozens of students have been given passing marks only to be compensated while many students have already prepared for the next class after passing the entrance exam. However, according to the rules, if the marks are less than 50%, the student cannot reach the next class and most of the students do not have that many marks.
As soon as the information was received, AMU’s proctor’s team reached the spot and tried to understand the students, but the students remained adamant about their demands.
The students of Plus Two say that their protest in the past days has yielded results. The protest will continue in this manner until the problems of the students are resolved.
What do AMU proctors say?
AMU Proctor Wasim Ahmed said that information about the gathering of students was received, after which the AMU administration team reached the spot and explained it to the students and sent them back to the hostel. The demands of the students regarding the results are being investigated and further action will be taken only after the investigation.
